Godaddy is the worst Host/Domain supplier to me!

I use Godaddy Host and Domain service for years
but I feel now they are the worst service supplier.
Let's look at the TOP 10 Web Hosts 2010

Godaddy is no more on Top 5!

Let's take Ipage for examples. Under similar cost,
Ipage offer unlimited host space when Godaddy only give you 10GB
Ipage allow unlimited mysql database but Godaddy only offer 10 database.....

I see no reason why we should use Godaddy host unless you
1. register your domain on Godaddy
2. lazy to host the domain somewhere else

Now! Save your money. Don't be lazy. Buy cheap domain on Godaddy only when
they are cheaper!! But host somewhere else!

I used Godaddy for years... and do not really think to change it. But recently I have
a very bad experience which make me start thinking to stop deal with Godaddy.

The story is
" I have a domain registered in Godaddy. It was expired last month. I want it expired,
so that it can be released again. then I can register it somewhere else. But But But
Godaddy keep the domain on their hand. The domain is not visible even it was expired
for months. At the beginning, I thought "they might keep it for good reason. they don't
want me to lose that domain name." But soon, I found it was a kidnapping!!

Why did I say that? Kidnapping? Yes, it is. They kidnap the domain name and when I
was forced to come back to them. They raised the price for the domain and charge me
extra 80 USD which I don't think they pay anything else to keep my domain. (the domain
name is just spell in our language, no special meaning in English. not a popular on in .biz
domain)  When I found that, I canceled the order on the same day and ask for refund!
But it seemed they don't give me a full refund even I canceled on the same day......

This expeirence makes me frustrated and Godaddy is not a any choice on HOST or Domain to me now!
